🦇 Not content to let the Halloween revelry end on October 31st, The Band Under Your Bed™ Zombina & the Skeletones return to Rough Trade Liverpool with their paradoxical blend of bubblegum rock n' roll and morbid horror punk, celebrating the 20 year anniversary of their Death Valley High album with a special set of spooky tunes from accross their interminable career - including a number of songs from the aforementioned Death Valley High which - as of Halloween 2026 - will be available on vinyl for the very first time thanks to local label 9x9 Records!

🦇 And that's not all... we also have the brilliant post-punk sounds of Liminal Project (whose darkly atmospheric slef-titled record was produced by head-Skeletone, Doc Horror!) and even an appearance from The Del-Roswells - who are actual space aliens, playing legit sci-fi surf rock!

What's German for "Halloween"?

Zombina and the Skeletones played our first live show in a very long time a couple of weeks back, opening for The March Violets and introducing Manchester to our very scary new drummer Tommy Kruger - who did an amazing job on his live debut (sounding much better than the drum machine we’ve been using for the last 12 months) so now we feel like a real band again, and that means the time is right to start doing crazy stuff! So… the night after we play the FERAL Halloween III party at Wild At Heart in Berlin, we’re going to make that hideous trek right to the opposite end of Germany to play at Hell Nights on Halloween at Club Volta in Cologne with our old friends The Other (who will be appearing under their original moniker of “Ghouls”, playing a set of Misfits covers)

Also appearing will be Vlad In Tears, The Crimson Ghosts and We’rewolf! Can you think of a better way to spend Halloween? If the answer is “yes”, you can just SHUT IT, buddy!

In other news: we’re selling “Down On Tombstone Beach” beachtowels now. That’s a bit strange isn’t it? Beachtowels of a song? It’s this blasted heat. Makes you do things.

HORROR SHORTS #6: Down On Tombstone Beach

 Put on your nose guard! It's here! The sixth installment in the Zombina and the Skeletones HORROR SHORTS series. "Down On Tombstone Beach". No video for this one... yet! Bur we intend to make it happen :D Look, it's not easy getting a song *and* a video out every month. It's kind of impressive that we got it dead-on the first five times, to be honest. We're halfway through 2026, and halfway through HORROR SHORTS! The next one is coming July 31st.
