SO MANY EXCLAMATION MARKS!!!!!!

Single number TWO from Zombina and the Skeletones In Sinistereo is dropping tomorrow (Wednesday the 8th October 2025) it's called "Kill!!!" (with three exclamation marks) and it's the spooky electropop dance-banger of the album. The b-side is called "The Flesh", and much like "Last Party On Earth" it's an ancient (pre-Death Valley High) song that we'd never gotten around to recording that we've finally polished off for your enjoyment in 2025 AD. It's also potentially the weirdest track we've ever recorded...

The video was created by, and stars Mantipedes and their amazing Zombina puppet. I mean, just look at this thing...
It's pretty damn magnificent, no?

Then there's the incredible news that we had the opportunity to collaborate with Drag Race legend Suzie Toot in remaking her 2023 Halloween single "Bonecoming", which we've given a big ole punk rock makeover as per her request!

We were, frankly, startled to hear that Suzie had name-dropped us on Drag Race season 17 earlier this year, and we of course felt the need to get in touch - which eventually led to a remote collab on the all-new, rockin' rollin' version of "BONECOMING!" (now in all-caps, with a single, solitary exclamation mark) which you can already hear on all streaming services - and which has a video in the works. In the meantime, here's Suzie discussing her "Tootober" plans:

Then there's "The Kids Are All FRIGHT!!" (with two exclamation marks) an 18 track compilation of RARE horror-punk madness from all over the place on We Are Horror Records, to which we have contributed an exclusive track called "It Begins..." You won't find this on yer streaming services. This is a limited edition CD/LP and when it's gone, it really is gone!
You can hear an excerpt of "It Begins..." on the official ad:
Things always start to heat up at this time of year!

...and don't forget: Zombina and the Skeletones in Sinistereo is COMING October 31st from 9x9 Records! Pre-orders are OPEN!

We have three shows coming up, too:
October 31st at Slaughterhouse, Berlin (there might be another RARE product associated with this one...)
November 1st at CRK, Wroclaw with Horror Vacui and Psychoformalina
November 8th at Quarry, Liverpool with Thirst, Q.u.a.l.m.s and the astounding magic of Alexander Thorn!

...after which we will take a little break from playing live while we search for that elusive drummer. If you are a drummer - please get in touch!!!

Witch Mountain / Last Party On Earth

Witch Mountain / Last Party On Earth is the first of two "singles" from our forthcoming ZOMBINA AND THE SKELETONES IN SINISTEREO album! You can find it on all streaming sites, or download it from our bandcamp!

We asked in our ZATS Bats Facebook group for help, and one Staci Stasis of the Venetian Video Cats art collective was kind enough to put together this sweet lyrics video for us! We also were lucky enough to be offered free and amazing artwork for both singles from the excellent comic book artist John Sowder! A million thanks to them both!!!
You may already be familiar with Witch Mountain in it's original form from the In Sinistereo Pt. II EP in 2015 - but the b-side Last Party On Earth is something ain't nobody heard 'til today!! Check it out!!

Zombina and the Skeletones in Sinistereo

It's only taken TEN YEARS since we put out the frst part of the four EP series that made up "Zombina and the Skeletones in Sinistereo" - but now... the actual, genuine, final version of our aeons AWOL album... (this is pretty much album number five? That seems about right, depending on which ZATS releases you class as "albums") ... is here AT LAST!

Don't get it twisted, this is not a "compilation". Zombina and the Skeletones in Sinistereo was intended to be a 16 track album since day one! The versions of the tracks that you will hear here are totally spruced up, too! All of the missing keyboards, saxophones and backing vocals etc have been reinstalled. Everything is remixed and remastered. Some songs have magically become longer, or shorter. The track sequencing is different too... it's a completely new experience, I tell ya!

October 31st 2025 will see the release of our wild-est, long-lost-est most bizarre record to date on a choice of compact disc or limited edition RED 12" vinyl thanks to 9x9 Records!

Leipzig, Manchester and more are a-comin'!

Zombina and the Skeletones have been added to the line up of Wave Gotik Treffen, the most massive dark-music festival in Europe. We'll be appearing at 7.10pm at Taubchenthal on Monday 9th June, along with our old touring buddies Nim Vind. Full line up TBA, but you can check out the hundreds of acts on offer over at the WGT website.

We last played this fest in 2011 and are super excited to be going back!

---

In other news, we'll be popping up in Manchester's Castle Hotel as "special guests" of Heathen Apostles, a nice western gothic act featuring Chopper Franklin from The Cramps and Thomas Lorioux of Legendary Shack Shakers!

It'll be our first time in Manchester in an absolute age too, and in a pretty small and intimate venue - so ticket up ASAP!

In between those two dates we have even more excitement coming in the form of The Deadinburgh Festival on the 4th July and The Blackpool Boneyard Weekender on 5th July.

More shows TBC.
